ISLAM EDUCATION

DEFINITIONS AND FAITH TO creed Qada AND Qadr
Creed comes from the word 'aqada-ya'qidu-' aqdan which means the knot, tie, and a strong and robust treaty. Furthermore, faith is often referred to as' aqidatan which means trust or confidence. Therefore, the link between 'aqdan and' aqidatan is that the conviction was knotted and tied securely in the heart, is binding, and contains the agreement.
While etymologically meaning of faith is the bond or plugs. So called because it binds and becomes plugs or dependent upon everything. Bond of faith should not be compared with the physical bond is seen enacting because faith is a spiritual bond firm and abstracts of the Creator and His creatures. While the sense of faith in the words of the heart is the belief and justification of something.
In a technical sense, faith means faith or belief. Therefore, the creed associated with the principle pillars of faith around the teachings of Islam so that the position of faith in Islam is very central and fundamental. Aqeedah also means promise. That is a promise of our faith in Allah. If our faith faded, the fade is also our pledge to Allah. Therefore, we must always hold fast to faith as the embodiment of the promise to God.

On the other hand, the notion of faith can also be reviewed in terminology, as revealed by Hasan al-Banna in Majmu 'ar-Rasaail, namely:
"Aqaid (the plural of 'aqidah) are some things that must be believed to be the truth by heart, bring peace of soul, a belief that is not mixed with the slightest hesitation."
In addition, Abu Bakr al-Jazairi in the book 'Aqeedah al-believer, stating that:
'Aqeedah is a truth that can be accepted easily by humans based on reason, revelation (to be heard), and nature. Truth dipatrikan heart and rejected anything contrary to the truth. "
Allah says in Surat al-Hajj verse 54:
Meaning: And for people who have been given knowledge, believe that the Qur'an is what the rights of your Lord and submit to their faith and their hearts to him and that Allah is the giver of instructions for those who believe unto a straight path.
As mentioned above, the creed is linked to the Five Pillars of Faith Islamic subjects. Pillars of Faith there are six, namely:
1. Faith in Allah
2. Faith in angels
3. Faith in God books
4. Faith of the Apostles
5. Faith in the Day of Judgement
6. Faith in Qada and Qadar
Word of God confirmed it contained in the Qur'an surah Al Kahf verse 29, namely:
Meaning: And say: The truth comes from your Lord; then whoever wants to (believe) let him believe, and whosoever wants (infidel) let him disbelieve. Surely We have prepared for those unjust hell, which gejolaknya surrounded them. And if they ask for a drink, they will be given a drink with boiling water as a consuming iron face. That's the worst beverage and resting place of the worst.
Allah also says in surah Al Baqarah verse 285 as follows:
Meaning: The Apostle had faith in the Qur'an revealed to him from his Lord, as well as those who believe. All of them believe in Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles. (They say): We make no distinction between one else can (with others) of his apostles, and they say: We hear and we obey. (They prayed): Our Lord Forgive us and yeah Thee place back.
In this discussion, we will discuss only Qada and Qadar faith. Faith in Qada and Qadar is one of the pillars of faith on which we are required mengimaninya for our faith to be valid and complete. Ibn 'Abbas used to say,' Qadar is nidzam (rules) monotheism. Whoever mentauhidkan God and have faith in Qadr, then tauhidnya perfect. And whoever Allah and deniers mentauhidkan Qadr, then he lied tauhidnya damage "(Majmoo 'Fataawa Shaykh al-Islam).
Before discussing more about the faith to Qada and Qadar, it will first be discussed on Qada and Qadar itself. Qada means the language of law, order, provide, require and make. While Qadr means or set a size limit.
Etymologically, Qada can be interpreted as a disconnection, command, and reporting. Imam az-Zuhri said, "Qadha etymologically means a lot. And all terms related to making up those back to the meaning of perfection .... "(An-Nihayat Ghariib fii al-Hadith, Ibn al-Athir). While Qadr comes from qaddara, yuqaddiru, taqdiiran meaning determination.
From the point of terminology, making up those past is knowledge, which has been established by God in the days of preexisting. The Qadr is the occurrence of an invention in accordance with the determination (qadha). While the meaning of terminological Qada and Qadar by Ar-Ragib are:
"Qadar is to determine the limit (size) of a design, such as large and the age of the universe, the length of day and night, anatomy and physiology of vegetable and animal creatures, etc.; being Qada is the set design."
Or simply, Qada can be interpreted as the ordinance of God that has been set but we do not know. While Qadr is the ordinance of God that has been proven and known to have occurred. It can also be said that the Qada is a provision or provisions, while Qadr is the size. Thus is the Qada and Qadar or destiny is in God's provision or provisions of a certain size or norm.
Word of God concerning Qada and Qadar contained in the letter of Al Ahzab verse 36, namely:
Meaning: And is not appropriate for men who mumin and not (also) for the mumin women, when Allah and His Messenger have set a statute, it is there for those options (the others) about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, then behold, he had gone astray, misguided real.
In addition, Allah also says in Surat al-Qamar paragraph 49, namely:
Meaning: Verily We created everything according to size.
Faith in Qada and Qadar means faith harmony-rukunnya. Faith in Qada and Qadar has four pillars, among others:
• Divine Science
Faith in Qada and Qadar means to believe in God Science is a row of His attributes from ever. God knows everything. No matter how small creatures in the heavens and on earth who does not know him. He knows all His creatures before they are created. He also knows the conditions and the things that have happened or will happen in the future.
• Posting of Fate
As believers, we have to believe that everything that happens, whether in the past, the present, or the future, everything has been recorded in lawh Mahfuz and nothing is forgotten by Him.
• Masyi'atullah (God's will) and Qudrat (Power of God)
A believer who has faith in Qada and Qadar must believe masyi `ah (God) and His power overall. Whatever He wills must happen even if people do not want it. Vice versa, any unwanted certainly will not happen though people beg and wills. This is not because God is not capable but because God does not want it.
• Creation of God
While faithful to the Qada and Qadar, a believer must believe that Allah is the creator of all things, there is no Deity besides Him and no Lord besides Him this universe.
These are the four pillars of faith in Qada and Qadar which every Muslim must believe. So, if one of the four pillars is ignored or didustakan, surely we will never get to the true faith gates. Therefore, belie the pillars are meant damaging the building faith in Qada and Qadar and when the building was damaged faith, it will also cause damage to the unity of the building itself.
There are four kinds of destiny, among others:
1. Common Fate (Fate Azali)
Fate of everything set before the creation of heaven, earth, and all its contents.
2. Fate Umuri
Fate imposed upon man in the early days of its creation and of a general nature. Covering fortune, death, happiness and misery.
3. Fate Samawi
Fate is recorded on the night of Lailatul Qadar every year.
4. Fate Yaumi
Fate is devoted to all the events that will happen in a day, ranging from the creation, fortune, turn on, turn off, forgive sins, removes distress, and so on.
Allah says in the letter Ar Rad verse 11:
Meaning: For humans there are angels who always followed her turn, in front and behind, they are keeping the commandments of God. Verily Allah does not change the state of a people so they change the circumstances that exist in themselves. And if God wills evil to a people, then no one can resist, and occasionally there is no protection for them besides Him.
From the above discussion, it can be concluded that the Islamic creed is summed up in the Five Pillars of Faith is the foundation for every Muslim to learn and implement Islam in their daily lives. In addition, the application of the good faith and the right to bring benefits to us, such as providing peace of the soul, embodying the good life, sincere attitude and consequent birth and increase our devotion to God Almighty.
