Understanding Waste and Pollution

Understanding Waste or Trash
Waste or garbage is waste or dirt resulting from the disposal of waste or chemicals from factories. Waste or garbage is also a material that is not meaningless and worthless, but we did not know that the waste could also be something that is useful and beneficial if properly processed. Waste or garbage can also mean something that is useless and discarded by most people, they think of it as something that is not useful, and if left too long, it will cause disease when the waste properly then it could make junk a thing economically.

 Understanding Pollution
v
Pollution is a gas that can harm originating or fumes generated by either exhaust from vehicles and combustion fumes from certain factories. Rarely do we find a state of the streets are clean without any pollution from vehicle fumes. Pollution can also cause disease, because it is contained in the pollution disease viruses that can harm our health. Many people are complaining because of the pollution, even today there is no effective way to deal with pollution, as more and more people today are driving a vehicle that makbanyak also berotor fumes generated and it will cause air pollution.

II. Types of waste
If based provenance, waste classified into two namely:

1. Organic Waste
This waste consists of materials such as organic besifat of household activities, industrial activities. Waste can also be easily explained through natural processes. Agricultural waste in the form of the spill or overspray, eg from pesticides and herbicides, as well as excessive fertilization. This waste has chemical properties that setabil substance will sink into the soil, the river, lakes and the sea and will affect the organisms that live in it. While household waste can be solids such as paper, plastic, etc., and a liquid such as water washing, cooking oil bekasdan others. The waste is there that has a high toxicity for example: the remaining drug, used batteries, and battery acid. Waste is classified (B3) which is hazardous and toxic waste water while washing, bathroom waste, may contain germs or biological contaminants such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, and so on.

2. Inorganic waste
This waste consists of waste industrial or mining waste. Inorganic waste from alamyang resource can not be described and can not be renewed. Industrial waste water may contain many kinds of inorganic materials, such substances are:
Inorganic salts such as magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride from mining and industrial activities.
v
inorganic acids such as sulfuric acid derived from the industrial processing of metal ore and fossil fuels.
v
There is also inorganic waste from household activities such as plastic bottles, glass bottles, plastic bags and aluminum cans.
If based on the source of waste classified into three, namely:
Ø
1. Waste Plant
This waste can be classified as a hazardous waste because it has levels gasyang waste toxic waste is usually dumped in the rivers surrounding residential communities and citizens rarely use the river for their daily activities, such as MCK (bathing, washing and latrine ) and direct gas produced by sewage plants are consumed and used by the public.

2. Household Waste
Household waste is waste generated by household activities of this waste could be the remains of vegetables such as carrots, cabbage, spinach, a salad, etc. can also be paper, cardboard or paperboard. Waste also has a high toxicity when coming from the rest of medicine and batteries.

3. Industrial Waste
This waste is generated or derived from plants or produced by certain companies. This waste contains harmful substances such as inorganic acids and compounds orgaik, these substances into waters if it will cause pollution that can harm a living creature such as water users, fish, duck and other living beings, including humans
III. How to deal with waste
 First by recycling
v
sale loakatau artisan market at the usual junk passed in front of the house - the house.
v This method can make the original waste or garbage is nothing that can be ekonomisdan items can make money. Can also be sold to our neighbors the Junkman or scavengers. Items that may be sold include former papers, old newspapers, old magazines, bottles, old tires, old radios, old TV and bikes are obsolete.
 By way of burning
v
This method is the easiest thing to do because it requires no effort. This method can be done by burning of solid wastes such as paper using kerosene and lit the fire.
I.
Excess burning are:
1. Easy and requires no effort
2. Needing a place or location is quite small
3. Can be used as an energy source for generating steam, electricity and metal melting.
IV. How to Handle Due to Motor Vehicle Pollution
For many urban areas, complete business vehicles, such as public transportation, scooters, and cars with sophisticated control devices, although it is not effective enough to reduce air pollution by the quick and thorough. These cities have run a variety of programs ranging from the application of the day without driving, parking in the city to ban all of which are known by the term "transportation control measures" ("transportation control measures /" TCM "). Many TCM focuses on reducing traffic congestion, using systems ranging from physical methods, such as coordinated traffic lights, one-way streets and drive joint or separate bus lane, to methods of using economic incentives, such as "solid line rate" which require drivers to pay if the current through the highway in heavy traffic.
Login ban. In 1977 Buenos Aires ban private vehicles into the streets of downtown at 10 am to 7 pm on weekdays. Buses and taxis are allowed only in some particular way. The ban is to overcome traffic congestion and air pollution caused by one million people.
V. Impact of Waste
A. Impact on health
The impact that it can menebabkan or cause panyakit. Potential health hazards that can be caused are as follows:
1. Diarrheal diseases and mice, the disease occurs because of a virus that came from waste management is not appropriate
2. Skin diseases such as scabies and ringworm

B. Impact on the environment
The liquid from the waste - waste that goes into the river will contaminate the water so that it contains viruses diseases. A variety of fish can die over time so it may be extinct. Not infrequently people also consume or use water for daily activities, so that the human family will be affected by sewage either directly or indirectly. In addition to polluting the water, the environment also cause flooding due to a lot of people who throw waste tanggake rivers that blocked sluice and water during the rainy season and the water can not flow up flooded homes, thus disturbing the residents.
VI. Conclusion
Basically pollution and waste is a kind of dirt that comes from the exhaust and it can impact the environment around but now is found a way or solution to deal with the effects produced by pousi and waste, though in fact the way or a solution does not exist results because many fumes pollution and still more we encounter disungaidan waste or garbage on land that can also cause flooding.
